SSIG offers masters scolarship on a project with Petrobras

The Smart Surveillance Interest Group offers a masters scholarship to work on the problem of active cameras in a large Research and Development project in partnership with Petrobras.

The problem with Active Cameras is to control and coordinate a large set of cameras in order to capture visual data with a greater level of detail. For this, computer vision, machine learning and distributed systems techniques are used to coordinate a system composed of two types of cameras: fixed and active.

A differential for the job is to have good command of programming logic, good programming practices and notions of computer vision. The value of the scholarship is R $ 2,140.00 and the duration of the project will be 3 years.
